I received it as a gift and even though I don't shoot with an M16 or other ARs, it should easily hold pepper spray, a flashlight, and a spare cylinder for a Colt Walker. Overall, I recommend it, although personally, I prefer something more stylistically 19th-century.

Zero wad. It serves its purpose very well and M4 magazines fit perfectly. You can remove the upper Velcro strap and it still holds the magazines well. I recommend it.

A strong and comfortable pouch, magazines fit easily, and it's soft. Magazines go in and come out conveniently and smoothly. The Velcro fastens securely and holds, and the snaps on the MOLLE straps don’t come undone easily. Generally a good product for a good price.
