MFH Extreme Tarp 3 x 3 m - M05 Finnish Camo

MFH Extreme Tarp is a versatile camping tarp crafted from polyurethane-coated polyester in M05 Camo camouflage pattern, as issued to the Finnish Army. Functionality includes use as a shelter, tent, awning, or emergency cover.

Constructed from fabric utilizing a rugged and highly damage-resistant Rip-Stop weave, the tarp offers reliable protection. The material boasts a water resistance rating of 2000 mm water column.

Measuring 3 x 3 m, the tarp features 8 robust loops for straightforward setup. Loops are positioned at each corner and at the midpoint of every side, while an extra attachment loop is centrally located. A carrying bag is part of the package.

The M05 camouflage (Finnish M05 Maastokuvio) represents a series of pixelated camouflage designs adopted by the Finnish Defence Forces in 2005, replacing the preceding M91 pattern. These patterns were engineered using digital analysis of photographs capturing Finnish woodland environments across various seasons, in collaboration with the Finnish Forest Research Institute. The M05 series comprises multiple versions, including woodland, snow, and cold weather adaptations.

The primary woodland variant of M05 features a combination of light green, dark green, brown, and dark graphite patches, closely simulating the textures and colors found in Finnish forests. Due to landscape and vegetation similarities, the M05 Woodland pattern also offers superior concealment in Central and Eastern European forests, ensuring effective camouflage in natural forested environments.
