MFH M1905 US Bayonet Fixed Blade Knife

A knife with a total length of 510 mm and a blade length of 390 mm featuring a Spear-Point profile, made of 8Cr14MoV stainless steel. The blade features a flat grind. It has a satin finish, giving it a matte appearance. The handle scales are made of plastic. The set includes a wooden sheath wrapped in canvas. The model is based on the classic U.S. Army M1905 bayonet and is suitable for both historical reenactments and survival and outdoor activities.

The knife is made of 8Cr14MoV stainless steel. Thanks to the addition of chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium, this steel provides good corrosion resistance and structural stability of the blade. The steel used is significantly less susceptible to corrosion than typical low-alloy tool steels. This steel offers good edge retention and is easy to sharpen. As a result, it performs well in everyday use and outdoor applications.

This model features a Spear-Point blade with a smooth cutting edge and a length of 390 mm. Additional fullers are placed along the blade to reduce the weight of the structure. The blade has a flat grind, which provides increased resistance to damage. Additional protection and stability during use are provided by a double-sided cross guard with a mounting hole for the barrels of Springfield M1903 and M1 Garand rifles.

The handle consists of ergonomically shaped scales screwed onto the tang, made of durable brown-colored plastic. The material used is characterized by resistance to mechanical damage, abrasion, and exposure to moisture and changing weather conditions, making it ideal for intensive field work.

The slightly textured surface of the scales ensures a secure grip and good control over the knife, enhancing safety and comfort during use.

The bayonet comes with a sheath made of wood and covered with canvas, designed for carrying and storage. It is equipped with a wire belt hook for the M1910 belt (M1910 wire belt hook).
