To start with - this is not a waterproof box. It's a water-resistant box, which means that if you leave it in the rain, probably nothing or almost nothing will get inside. In my opinion, this box should have a rubber gasket; just plastic, even pressed down with four clasps, does not guarantee waterproofness but... for this price, we get a pretty neat box where we can store medicines, money, matches, or other small items, throw it at the bottom of a backpack or bag, and as long as we don't submerge the backpack, we can be sure nothing inside will get wet. I will try to "produce" a gasket using a rubber band and maybe then I'll achieve true waterproofness. 4 stars for an error in the description.

Very useful accessory, no frills, spacious. You shouldn't swim with it, but it is splash resistant. Clasps on three sides, the fourth - a plastic hinge that bends. It might not withstand thousands of openings, but at this price - there's no need to complain.

Very useful box. I carry spare batteries for my flashlight in it. Maybe the main description is misleading because it says waterproof, but further down the description it already says water-resistant, not waterproof. The appearance itself shows it's not waterproof. I haven't checked and don't intend to. It's enough that it's water-resistant.

The product does not match the description. According to the description, the box should be waterproof. Unfortunately, it is not. After a short immersion in water, it is full of water. It can be used as a "survival box" but not for things that need to stay dry.

A good option for a fire-starting kit or for medicines or a bit of everything. There's usually no space in the backpack for small items and they end up scattered throughout the gear. A single box will fit matches, a small BIC, a large flint, a piece of resinous stick, a button compass, and still a lot of other small things. However, I would have limited trust in any exceptional water resistance.

I use mine to store tea bags. The backpack and box were exposed to a lot of snow, but the tea was untouched.
