First, I tested it throughout a full day of use. It seemed comfortable and secure to me, and maneuvering it also caused no problems. Although it looked solid, when worn it gave an impression of lightness.

I bought them for use in winter, in light frost. They keep warmth quite well. My feet do not get cold. On the outside, they are almost waterproof. They keep their shape well. They retain their colour.

The Himera shoes are also of very good quality. For a start, they hold up pretty well. At this price, it's great. I recommend them. They fit perfectly with the set. Excellent tread.

Super quality and super price, as usual MIL pleasantly surprises. At this price, the manufacturer of military gear delivers. I own many items from MIL and have never been disappointed, and I can compare because I've bought various brands.
-
Very comfortable "from the first wear", there was no need to fiddle with sizing, 42 fits perfectly and I have rather standard feet. Nothing pinches or rubs. The shoes were immediately put to the test in tough conditions—they handled the windiest and rainiest day at Opener, plus a 2km walk back to the accommodation in the rain and strong wind with no problems. After returning, my feet were dry and warm; only the socks just above the ankles (so-called footlets) were slightly damp, but that's mostly because I was wearing short trousers and a rain poncho, so a little water dripped in, and the shoes don't have uppers. I suspect that with long trousers, nothing would have happened. In my opinion, these are not shoes for high summer temperatures. They are better suited for when it's too cold and wet for sneakers and still too warm for boots—then they're perfect. I bought them for exactly that reason, and it was a bullseye.

The shoes are very comfortable, well made, and have a solid sole. They fit perfectly (chosen online, size 42), nothing pinches. After a two-week trip there are no visible signs of wear so far, I think they will last a long time. I recommend them.

For some time now, I've been using Mil-Tec Chimera boots in tough outdoor conditions and I am very satisfied with them. Even though they're black and I often wear them on wet grass and in mud, stains are less visible than one might expect and the boots still look good. In terms of comfort, they're exemplary. I spent four hours walking outside in 20°C with classic cotton socks and did not feel like my feet were overheating. Even at 24°C, sitting in the sun, there was neither a feeling of overheating nor any unpleasant odor after taking them off. The waterproofing is at a very good level. Walking on wet surfaces and grass, my feet remained completely dry and I noticed no moisture inside. At the same time, they are surprisingly breathable considering their waterproof properties. They are also very light, which noticeably affects comfort during activities. The sole is deeply shaped, guaranteeing excellent grip on various surfaces: sand, wet grass, mud, and even during climbing. This gives a lot of stability in diverse conditions. The laces are also a pleasant surprise – they stay tied well and do not come undone, even without being tightly knotted. The only downside: despite having a semi-self-cleaning tread, after walks in the mud, they still need to be rinsed off – they don't clean themselves completely. In terms of appearance, they look more like modern outdoor shoes than classic military ones. To sum up: these are very solid boots – comfortable, waterproof, breathable, lightweight, and functional. In my opinion, they are definitely worth their price.

I appreciate the durability of the construction and the comfortable grip, but the sizing is off – I had to choose a size larger than usual. The membrane and the stiff, thick build retain heat too much, causing the feet to overheat and sweat quickly, regardless of whether you wear socks. If you don’t intend to use them in winter or late autumn, I wouldn’t recommend wearing them in warmer conditions or indoors.
-
Shoes at this price are great, lightweight, although I also get the impression that the foot leans slightly inward in them. The hard sole nicely transfers body weight from the heel to the toes. The sizing is accurate - 46 is 46, 28.7 cm!! Fits perfectly. The shoe is unlikely to stretch.
-
At this price, very nice shoes. Used daily, without extreme conditions, they perform very well. Solid workmanship should not cause any surprises. Solid product, worth recommending. It's OK.
-
The shoes are generally okay, though as others describe, in warm weather your feet sweat a lot, and another minus is that the big toe, or rather the toenail, gets rubbed and later you feel a slight pain. Maybe you should buy a bigger size, because the shoe probably won't expand due to the reinforcement at the toes.
-
I used these shoes all winter and several times on warmer days. At 0°C and below they work great, but on warmer days or in indoor spaces, your feet start to sweat if you wear them for a long time. But you have to expect this if you want shoes with a membrane. A minus is that the product description mentions a quick lacing system which these shoes do not have (I bought two pairs and neither of them had it).
-
I have to say, for the price, these shoes are simply brilliant. They are perfect for outdoor use at temperatures from -5 to 10°C—you don't feel them on your feet at all. The sole grips surfaces very well (even icy ones), and I've stepped in deep puddles several times without them getting wet at all. The only downside is that indoors, your feet can sweat in them, but for this price, I honestly and wholeheartedly recommend them.

Great shoes. I bought it for use in the winter, for a little frost. They keep warm quite well. The leg does not freeze. They hardly get wet outside. They keep their shape well. Keep the color.
-
I was surprised by the good craftsmanship of these shoes, overall they look much better in real life than in the photos. They are light, comfortable, and at the same time seem durable. I tested the membrane by walking for an hour in wet grass, foot stayed dry. That's why I highly recommend!!!
