Minelab Equinox 900 Metal Detector - set

The Equinox 900 metal detector comes with 3 waterproof DD coils in sizes 15", 11", and 6", enabling reliable operation in tough weather conditions and submersion up to 5 meters. The detector incorporates Multi-IQ technology, delivering superior object identification accuracy.

Four operating modes (Park, Field, Beach, Gold) are available, each with two fully customizable search profiles for user programming. Multi-IQ technology supports the simultaneous use of multiple frequencies, ensuring peak detection sensitivity across all object types and sizes, while minimizing ground signal interference. As a result, the detector achieves highly precise object identification at depths well beyond the reach of single-frequency detectors.

Six frequency options enable optimization according to the targeted object, depth, and ground conditions. Lower frequencies are ideal for detecting larger, deeper targets like military relics or sizable silver coins, while higher frequencies excel at locating smaller or less conductive items such as bronze pieces, gold nuggets, or jewelry. With the Pinpoint function, locating the exact position of a find becomes highly accurate.

A backlit LCD display and illuminated control buttons provide easy readability and usability in dim light. An integrated LED flashlight enhances search capability after sunset. Power is supplied by a built-in 5100 mAh Li-Ion battery, supporting up to 12 hours of usage. The battery charges in approximately 4 hours with the included magnetic cable.

IP68 certification guarantees water resistance for immersion up to 5 meters. The shaft, which is length-adjustable, is constructed from lightweight yet robust carbon fiber. Audio alerts are delivered through a built-in speaker, while the Wireless Audio module ensures fast, seamless pairing with the supplied wireless headphones. Additionally, the Equinox 900 features vibration alerts built into the handle.
