Nokta Simplex Lite metal detector
Simplex Lite metal detector comes with a waterproof SX24 DD 9.5 x 6" coil, ensuring reliable performance in tough weather conditions and underwater environments with a submersion capability of up to 5 meters. Offering 4 distinct operating modes (Field, Park, Beach, All Metal) and working at a frequency of 15 kHz.
Selective discrimination, Pinpoint function
Integrated frequency shift technology effectively suppresses EMI (electromagnetic interference). The enhanced beach mode ensures reliable detection in dry sand, wet sand, and even underwater environments. Targeted Discrimination enables users to filter out undesired metal objects. With a thirty-step sensitivity adjustment range, the detector can be precisely tuned to ground conditions or the specific targets being sought. Detection alerts are provided through both audio signals and vibration feedback. The display shows the estimated depth of detected items, while the Pinpoint function assists in accurately identifying the exact location of your find.
LCD display, backlit buttons, rechargeable power supply
LCD display and control buttons are equipped with backlighting to ensure clear visibility and ease of use in low-light environments. Additionally, a built-in LED flashlight enhances visibility for night operations. The detector draws power from an integrated Li-Ion battery with a 2300 mAh capacity, delivering up to 12 hours of continuous use. The battery recharges in approximately 4 hours using the supplied USB cable. Connecting a PowerBank further extends the device's operational time.
Waterproof coil, lightweight and durable rod
Featuring a IP68 waterproof certification, the device is fully protected against water ingress even when submerged up to 5 meters. The pole is crafted from high-quality, lightweight, and robust aluminum and plastic, with an adjustable length for optimal usability. The Simplex Lite allows for the use of wired headphones via its integrated headphone jack.

Great device for beginners and beyond! The Nokta Simplex Lite is lightweight, easy to use, and surprisingly effective. Waterproof, solid, and provides a lot of fun in the field.
-
Great metal detector, perfect for beginners in this kind of activity. Relatively cheap, practically affordable for everyone, really lightweight but advanced. I am very satisfied with it. I sincerely recommend it.

A quality detector. Equipped with what a beginner needs. Lightweight, compact when folded. The programs are more than enough for searching. Mastering its operation is intuitive. Of course, getting to know the detector and its capabilities requires hours spent in the field. The best manual can't replace that. It's worth watching videos online. The battery lasts for 2 outings. Charging to full is quite fast.

So, I bought the detector almost a year ago, so I've used it for almost a full season. I see both pros and cons. Pros: the best detector in this price range, lightweight (though I compared it to others with a larger coil, like the Minelab Equinox, and that one with a coil three times bigger was only 150g heavier), the build quality of the plastics, display, and coil is ok, the user manual is clear, the menu is readable for a beginner, several work modes but 'field' works best, overall nice equipment for the first year, the battery lasts for two longer outings (though after two bars are left, the detecting quality drops). Cons: despite iron discrimination, at value 19 it's just iron, I mostly find aluminum and overall could say this detector is mainly for aluminum because it signals them perfectly—if coins and buttons were aluminum, this device would be amazing; there's a bit of a problem with coins, because if it constantly displays value 26, then you can be sure it's a coin, but for other values, you don't know if it's a coin or wire; it falls short compared to 1500-2000 range devices; if I was buying again I'd spend more, because after a season I find it a bit too weak; max detecting depth is 30cm—nothing above that, can't even catch a shovel at 40-50cm; small coil and unfortunately your hand gets tired as you have to swing it a lot; the screen cover should be included at this price. In summary, it's good equipment for beginners, but after a season you'll want something higher-end.

The perfect detector for all beginners. Easy to use and to find your first treasures buried deep in the ground. I recommend it to everyone.

Nokta Simplex Lite is a good choice for beginner treasure hunters. It's easy to operate and offers good features for a reasonable price. More experienced users might, however, prefer more advanced models.

Tested, the manual is well and thoroughly written, easy to assemble each component, and most importantly—it works. I'll see how it performs in the field on Saturday :)

Overall, very lightweight equipment, well-balanced, and most importantly stable, no false signals. Super simple to use. Fast charging—about 3 hours. No plug for the charger, but that's not a problem. According to the manufacturer, the battery lasts 12 hours (haven't checked yet), but after nearly an hour, only one bar dropped. The manufacturer includes a charger without a plug, an adapter for headphones (large jack), and two manuals—one in Polish, one in English. It folds and unfolds easily with two clips. The armrest is adjustable—you just need to tighten and move the screws. I think that's about it. Overall, I recommend it—nice equipment for not much money!
