An advanced accessory with a very compact design. The light beam is entirely sufficient for precise target illumination, and the green laser remains sharp and highly visible even in more challenging lighting conditions. The switches operate precisely, and the mounting system holds securely. Very solid equipment.

Olight BALDR S Desert Tan Gun Flashlight with laser sight - 800 lumens, Green Laser
A robust and compact flashlight equipped with a laser sight for firearms, featuring a Desert Tan finish. Outfitted with a high-performance LED and reflector, it delivers a light output of 800 lumens, reaching distances of up to 130 meters. The integrated <5mW green laser enables fast target acquisition without the need to align the front and rear sights. The laser beam can be adjusted vertically and horizontally through the side-mounted adjustment screws.
sturdy construction and mounting rail
Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum A6061-T6 with a hard-anodized finish, the flashlight's housing delivers remarkable durability. This robust build provides the manufacturer with the confidence to guarantee impact resistance from drops up to 1 meter. Integrated seals offer IPX4 water resistance, effectively shielding the device from splashes, making it suitable for operation in light rainfall.
The BALDR S is equipped with an adaptable mounting rail designed to accommodate the majority of handguns featuring an accessory rail that complies with the 22mm standard (Weaver/Picatinny/MIL-STD-1913). A reliable steel clamp system enables swift and secure installation of the flashlight onto firearms.
work modes and advanced electronic systems
- 800-300 lumens / 1 min + 2 min + 30 min (laser enabled) / 1 min + 2 min + 37 min (laser disabled)
- 100 lumens / 90 min (laser enabled) / 140 min (laser disabled)
At the heart of the flashlight is state-of-the-art electronics regulating the current supplied to the diode. Owing to this technology, consistent light output is maintained until the battery is fully drained. An electronic protection system prevents diode overheating at the highest power setting (800 lumens), automatically reducing the current after 60 seconds and keeping brightness at 300 lumens. Once the flashlight is turned off, allowed to cool, and reactivated, maximum brightness will be available again.
Double-sided wing switch and various modes of activation
Operation is handled by a user-friendly wing switch positioned at the rear. Thanks to its double-sided design, the flashlight offers ease of use for both right- and left-handed operators. The unit allows independent activation of the laser, simultaneous use of the laser and the flashlight, or the flashlight alone.
built-in rechargeable battery, MCC cable, diode
The integrated rechargeable battery can be powered up using the supplied MCC cable featuring a magnetic connection. Positioned on the side of the flashlight, an LED indicator alerts you when the battery level is low; once battery performance drops below 10%, the LED will illuminate red.

A small and very nice little flashlight; it’s almost surprising they managed to fit 800 lumens, a laser, and a rechargeable battery in it. It doesn’t fit Safariland with every firearm, and that’s something to keep in mind.
-
Very good build quality and it shines great at 800 lumens. The range is incredible, it lights up the whole area. The battery is okay so far, we’ll see how it performs with longer use.
-
When buying an Olight you can be sure of quality! The flashlight has a very nice tilt adjustment system, so the buttons will be exactly where you want them. I recommend it.
-
I give five stars to the versions with the green or red laser, but I deduct for the blue one because it is not very visible. Apart from that, the flashlight is rugged and I can definitely recommend it.
-
I've had this on my pistol for two years and it works without issues. The charging design is really cool, you don't have to remove the flashlight from the frame. A small downside is that the FDE color is just paint, which wears off. The other colors use anodization, which is much more durable.
-
The flashlight is perfect for smaller pistols. It gives plenty of light and has a good laser. I really like this button solution because you can turn it on both by shouting and with your index finger.

Nice flashlight, it doesn't stick out even with a short handle, and the laser is a cool addition. It shines quite brightly and is easy to operate.

The sight is small and lightweight with surprisingly strong flashlight brightness. This comes at the cost of not very long battery life, but this isn't a flashlight meant to run all night... The green laser is highly visible, and in fog or when there are particles in the air, it creates a nice line from the barrel to the target. Magnetic charging without having to remove it from the revolver is definitely a big plus. I am satisfied with the purchase.

It has a green laser, so aiming is faster and easier. It has a bright light, is sturdy, fits well on the weapon, lasts long, and is simple to use.

The flashlight is really nice. The mount is stable and allows you to fit the flashlight well to the weapon's geometry. The laser holds zero even after being removed and reattached, which further proves the stability of the mount. The light can blind at a few meters and is easily enough to illuminate areas up to 25 meters (maybe more, but I haven’t tested at longer distances). Charging doesn’t require detaching the flashlight and is quick.

Godnie replaced the Valkyrie Mini 2. The addition of a green laser comes at the cost of slightly larger dimensions, but it still fits previous holsters. So far, I haven't noticed it wearing out or scratching in any particular way. The set includes a magnetic charger, so you don't have to remove the flashlight from the weapon.
-
Excellent flashlight for use on a pistol, great price promotion. I am very satisfied—just right for the needs of a beginner shooter.
-
For me, you don’t need anything else on a pistol when it comes to a flashlight. It gives a lot of light, has a green laser, excellent adjustment, charging without removing it. I had a black one and switched to FDE, which I regret because this one has a much more durable coating.
