This is not my first AA/AAA battery charger, and I am happy to compare my first impressions to other chargers. First and foremost: ease of use – I have never before seen a device where you can just throw in the batteries any old way and that's it. No need to insert carefully or pay attention to polarity, etc. Another good thing – it works with a power bank since it is powered by a USB-C cable. As for the downsides – the app is more like a store with device support rather than a typical app dedicated solely to managing Olight equipment. An additional bonus is the fold-out charger on the side for two Olight flashlights with charging rings – this is also a big convenience because you no longer have to mess with the magnetic chargers that come with the flashlights. On the downside, the dedicated Olight Ecolast lithium-ion batteries are nearly impossible to buy – I found them in only one store in Poland and at quite a prohibitive price.
