Olight Perun 2 Mini Kit Cool White OD Green Head and Angle Flashlight With Headband - 1100 lumens

A compact angle flashlight that, thanks to a high-performance Cool White LED/Red LED and PMMA TIR optics (lens/collimator), provides two types of light: white light with 1100 lumens of power and a range of up to 150 meters and red light in continuous or SOS mode. In the lowest mode (2 lumens), the flashlight can run continuously for 10 days! The set includes a headband with a silicone mount, allowing it to be used as a headlamp.

 

Aluminum Body, Anodization, IPX8 Standard

The durable body with a non-slip texture is made of aerospace-grade A6061-T6 aluminum, in OD Green color, coated with type III hard anodization. The flashlight is sealed with O-ring gaskets, ensuring IPX8 waterproofing (resistant to submersion up to 2 meters for 30 minutes).

Advanced Electronic System

The advanced electronic system manages power consumption directed to the high-performance LED, ensuring the flashlight maintains consistent brightness in the selected mode until the battery is fully discharged. In the highest mode, an electronic system prevents overheating by reducing power after 2 minutes and stabilizing the light at 250 lumens.

The flashlight offers 7 lighting modes, allowing the intensity of light to be adjusted to different conditions.

Rechargeable Battery, Magnetic Charger, Charge Indicator

The Perun 2 Mini flashlight is powered by an included 16340 lithium battery with a 650 mAh capacity. The battery is charged via the Olight MCC-1A USB magnetic charger (included in the set). The battery is installed by unscrewing the tail cap.

An LED located on the power button indicates the battery charge level:

  • Green light (>60%)
  • Orange light (10-60%)
  • Red light (5-10%)
  • Flashing red light (<5%)

Spring Clip, Magnetic Base, Warranty

A detachable, spring clip ensures convenient carrying, allowing the flashlight to be clipped to a pocket or gear strap. The flat tail cap enables the flashlight to be placed upright. Additionally, the cap contains a strong magnet, allowing the flashlight to be attached to any steel surface. The warranty is 5 years.

    After more than 1.5 years of use, I can recommend it. The flashlight is extremely durable - it has fallen onto asphalt and into mud many times, and it was also soaked while walking in heavy rain, yet it still works without any problems. When walking in a group, the battery easily lasts the whole night, but when walking alone, you need to keep in mind that you should buy a spare battery.

    A very interesting flashlight. It shines with a very focused beam, which, given its compact size, provides a decent range. Although the light is mainly concentrated in a small area, there is a less intense glow around it that is sufficient to illuminate what is under your feet. The low mode of 15 lm is suitable for walking at night and doesn't get your eyes used to the darkness. If needed, you can switch to medium mode – it becomes more comfortable. The option for a short burst at full power of 1100 lm is surprisingly useful. The red light mode is not very useful; the flashlight shines too strongly in this mode and is blinding. Overall, a high-quality product that is worthy of recommendation.
