Head and angle torch Olight Perun 2 Mini Cool White Black with a band - 1100 lumens

A rugged, compact angle flashlight equipped with a high-performance Cool White LED/Red LED and PMMA TIR (lens/collimator) optics, delivering two lighting modes: intense white light with up to 1100 lumens and a maximum beam distance of 150 meters, as well as red illumination available in constant and SOS settings. Operating in the lowest 2-lumen mode, the flashlight ensures uninterrupted runtime of up to 10 days!

The package contains a headband with a silicone grip, enabling use of the flashlight as a headlamp.

 

Made of aircraft aluminum, non-slip texture

Constructed from A6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with a Black Type III hard anodized finish, the robust body features a non-slip texture for enhanced grip. An O-ring sealing system ensures IPX-8 water resistance, providing protection against immersion in water up to 2 meters deep for 30 minutes.

Electronic system, overheat protection

An advanced electronic control system regulates current consumption supplied to the powerful LED, ensuring the flashlight emits a consistent light output in the chosen mode until the battery is fully depleted. The electronic system also includes overheat protection for the LED in the highest mode, automatically reducing current after 2 minutes and maintaining light at 250 lumens for stable performance.

Power supply, charge level information

The Perun 2 Mini flashlight operates using the supplied 16340 lithium battery, providing a capacity of 650 mAh. Charging is accomplished using the Olight MCC 1A USB magnetic charger (included).

To insert the battery, unscrew the rear cap. The flat design of the cap enables the flashlight to stand upright, while a powerful magnet integrated into the cap allows secure attachment to any steel surface.

A built-in LED indicator on the switch displays the current battery level:

  • green light (above 60%)
  • orange light (between 10-60%)
  • red light (5-10%)
  • blinking red (below 5%)

    A very interesting flashlight. It shines with a very focused beam, which, given its compact size, provides a decent range. Although the light is mainly concentrated in a small area, there is a less intense glow around it that is sufficient to illuminate what is under your feet. The low mode of 15 lm is suitable for walking at night and doesn't get your eyes used to the darkness. If needed, you can switch to medium mode – it becomes more comfortable. The option for a short burst at full power of 1100 lm is surprisingly useful. The red light mode is not very useful; the flashlight shines too strongly in this mode and is blinding. Overall, a high-quality product that is worthy of recommendation.
