Great little knife. The blade itself is excellent in both profile and sharpness. It's not a special-purpose tactical knife but a brilliant scout or camping knife. It's good that it has a corkscrew, which is rare in knives like this. To my surprise, the bottle opener is very effective and reliable. The blade length is just right, not too big, not too small. It's comfortable for slicing bread and cold cuts.
Lightweight folding knife equipped with a 10 cm long blade. The blade features a Clip-Point shape, is crafted from 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel, and boasts a semi-matte finish. With its full flat grind and slim blade thickness, it delivers excellent cutting performance.
A notch in the blade allows for easy one-handed opening, while the Virobloc lock secures the blade in the open position. The steel ring is positioned around the handle at the blade’s rotation axis. Once the knife is open, the ring should be rotated a few degrees to cover the blade slot in the handle, effectively locking the blade in place. This mechanism also prevents accidental opening when the knife is folded.
The ergonomically designed beech wood handle ensures a comfortable grip and comes integrated with a robust 5-turn corkscrew made from hardened stainless steel, as well as a steel bottle opener.

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Opinel.
Opinel is a French knife brand whose history dates back to 1890 in Savoy. The founder, Joseph Opinel, created the first folding knife, No. 08, which quickly became a symbol of everyday use thanks to its simplicity and functionality. In 1955, the Virobloc locking system was introduced, later modernized, which is still the hallmark of the brand today. In 1985, Opinel was recognized by the Victoria and Albert Museum as one of the 100 best-designed objects in the world, and the brand's knives also found their way into the MoMA collection in New York. Production takes place in Chambery, with an emphasis on quality and ecology - the wood comes from French forests and the waste is used to heat the factory. Among the famous users was Pablo Picasso, who used Opinel for carving, and the knives themselves have become a symbol of simplicity, durability, and the French lifestyle.

Opinel No.10 Inox with corkscrew and bottle opener is a great, versatile knife that works perfectly both at a campsite and during regular outdoor trips. The classic wooden handle looks elegant, is well contoured, and fits very comfortably in the hand. The stainless steel blade opens smoothly and stays sharp for a very long time — exactly what you can expect from Opinel.

The knife is amazing, sharp, the handle is very comfortable and pleasant to the touch, does not slip and is well contoured. Once opened and locked, you can cut without worrying about the blade folding. It opens bottle caps with one move, and as a bonus, there's a corkscrew, which may be used rarely, but it's important that it's there.

The perfect camping solution. Exceptionally sharp - like every Opinel. The corkscrew is effective, durable, and sturdy. The bottle opener also works without any complaints. For EDC uses, I prefer smaller knives, but the corkscrew and opener option on the Opinel No.8 would be ideal. However, it's hard to deny No.10 its comfort and versatility. Classically beautiful and convenient. Worth it.

For the promotional price of 85 PLN, it's okay. Sharp, with a corkscrew and a bottle opener. Fairly light, fits well in the hand. You can always have it at hand. Interesting locking mechanism. Service and delivery, as usual with Militaria, flawless.

The knife surprised me very positively. Very well made, good steel. The corkscrew can always come in handy. As always, fast shipping from militaria.pl. It was a successful purchase. I recommend it.

Great combination of a classic Opinel knife with the additional functionality of a corkscrew. The knife itself is a proven design, the stainless steel blade is, in my opinion, a plus.
