Replica of a black powder rifle featuring a percussion lock. The Hawken Target model represents a streamlined and lighter version of the classic firearm commonly used by American trappers. Nevertheless, it retains traditional elements, while the robust barrel and compact size have ensured its status as a dependable companion for hunting.
Fitted with a French-style set trigger, the rifle features a double trigger enclosed within a brass trigger guard. Sighting equipment includes a front sight paired with an adjustable buckhorn rear sight. These attributes work together to offer marked improvements in shooting precision.
Sporting a stock crafted from walnut wood, this rifle incorporates brass hardware such as the butt plate as well as a convenient brass patch box compartment suited for carrying percussion caps. Secured beneath the barrel, a ramrod also features brass fittings.
