Peli Air Case 1615 TrekPak Transport Case - Black

The black transport case is made of durable and damage-resistant HPX2 polymer combination patented by Peli. It effectively protects the contents during transport or storage. The model meets the IP67 tightness standard, thus safeguarding the contents from water and dust. Additionally, it is protected against mechanical damage and pressure changes, ensuring safe transport during air travel.

The casing is made from impact-resistant injection-moulded HPX2 resin. The material is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage, deformation, and atmospheric conditions such as moisture, dust, or varying temperatures while maintaining a low own weight. The construction secured with an O-ring meets the IP67 tightness standard, signifying full protection from dust and resistance to immersion in water up to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes.

System TrekPak is a precise, modular internal organization of the case based on strong divider panels, locking pins, and a tool for trimming dividers. The set allows for creating tailored compartments for equipment, offering a stiffer and more technical division than classic soft dividers. The interior of the case lid is filled with resilient shock-absorbing foam, which effectively dampens vibrations and protects the contents from mechanical damage. The applied solution allows for individual adjustment of the protection level to the type of transported equipment, which is significant for delicate, shock-sensitive equipment.

Reinforced lid can be closed with three solid Press and Pull type self-latching buckles that allow for easy one-handed operation, with additional security provided by holes for securing contents with padlocks. The open cargo space inside the case allows for any arrangement and organization of contents. Rubber-covered transport handles are located on the longer and shorter side, ensuring a firm grip. Additionally, a pull-out transport handle is located on the shorter side.

The case meets MIL-SPEC certification requirements, confirming a professional level of protection for transporting sensitive equipment - its resistance includes, among other things, tests for low temperatures, vibration, and vertical impact according to DEF STAN 81-41, which is a standard used for military-class equipment.

The case is equipped with an automatic pressure equalization valve that compensates for pressure differences between the interior and the environment, facilitating opening after altitude or temperature changes. The valve body is made of ABS, and the venting element is made of hydrophobic Hi-Flow Gore-Tex nonwoven, supporting tightness and reliable protection of equipment in demanding transport conditions.

The case is additionally equipped with wheels made of abrasion-resistant PU, facilitating movement. The smooth operation of the wheels is ensured by steel ball bearings.
