Pentagon ID Card Holder - Greek Lizard

ID card holder designed by Pentagon. Constructed from 500D Cordura material, ensuring exceptional durability and high resistance to abrasion.

Located on the front are three slots for cards or identification documents of similar size. Mesh fabric dividers provide clear visibility, allowing for quick identification of stored items. Cards remain secure thanks to a Velcro closure. An elastic loop offers convenient and stable attachment for a pen or a compact headlamp.

A nylon cord with a stopper allows the holder to be worn around the neck either vertically or horizontally. The cord can be secured to a D-ring UTX Duraflex or threaded through the eyelets located at the corners of the cover. The D-Ring also serves as an attachment point for additional gear using a carabiner.

A removable rear panel, fastened with a large Velcro closure, is located on the back. The panel incorporates a mesh pocket designed for convenient document display.

Greek Lizard serves as the primary camouflage pattern for the Greek Armed Forces and originates directly from the French Lizard pattern (Tap47), which saw extensive use during the mid-20th century. Greece tailored and refined this version to suit its unique landscape and climate—predominantly mountainous, rocky terrain with sparse vegetation. The Greek Lizard camouflage features irregular, horizontal stripes in various shades of olive green, brown, and black, set against a lighter base color, typically sand or pale green. While maintaining the characteristic striped design of the French predecessor, its color palette is distinctly adjusted for Mediterranean environments. The Greek Lizard pattern has been the standard issue for Greek field uniforms for many years and continues to be actively used today, particularly among ground forces.
