A great and well-thought-out headlamp at a good price. What I like most about it and what distinguishes it from typical Chinese products is the cleverly designed on/off system. Let me start from the beginning: firstly, there are 3 power modes, of which the first is the most useful for me because it provides a gentle light that doesn’t blind your eyes when they are used to darkness. This mode works perfectly, for example, when fishing at night—if I’m reeling in the rod and need to handle the gear, but the headlamp is too bright, then after turning it off, I can’t see anything and stand there like a fool with my fishing rod, waiting for my eyes to get used to the dark again so I can see where to cast. The same goes for rummaging through a backpack at night. Now for the best part: although you cycle through the modes with the same button—one click for 10% power, second for 50%, third for 100%—someone thought it through and designed it so that if you use the first mode (10% power) for at least 10 seconds, the next press turns the light off completely, not cycling to the next mode, which is great because otherwise it's annoying and blinding. Additionally, it has a pretty wide range of vertical adjustment, so you don’t have to bend your neck to shine on your hands when changing bait. The adjustment is stiff enough that it won’t move on its own during vigorous head movements.
