Replica of a percussion-cap revolver, initially manufactured by the American firm Remington. The 1858 New Model Army is a 6-shot black powder revolver, loaded from the muzzle. The Model 1858 was the first revolver worldwide to incorporate a closed frame, enhancing both reliability and structural durability.
Constructed from stainless steel and fitted with an 8-inch barrel in .44 caliber. The grips are produced from walnut wood, while the trigger guard is crafted from brass.
The revolver is equipped with mechanical sighting systems consisting of a fixed front sight and a rear sight.
The trigger operates in Single Action mode, requiring the hammer to be cocked manually for each shot. The hammer mechanism offers two positions: half-cock for fitting percussion caps onto nipples, and full-cock for firing.
