Replica of a percussion-cap revolver, originally manufactured by the American company Remington. The 1858 New Model Army Steel is a 6-shot black powder revolver with a muzzle-loading system. As the world's first design to feature a closed frame, it ensured enhanced durability and structural reliability.
Constructed from black-blued steel, the revolver comes with a 6.5-inch barrel in .36 caliber. The grip panels are crafted from wallet wood, and the trigger guard is made of brass.
The firearm features mechanical sights, including a fixed front sight and fixed rear notch.
The trigger works in Single Action mode, which requires manually cocking the hammer before each discharge. The hammer locking system offers two settings: half-cock, used for positioning percussion caps on the nipples, and full-cock, intended for firing.
Equipped with a ramrod-style loading lever hinged beneath the barrel, enabling the insertion of lead projectiles into the cylinder chambers.
