A very big advantage is the ability to adjust the rear sight. All the more so because, due to the very long barrel, the revolver is characterized by accuracy as well as great power.
Faithful reproduction of one of the most iconic revolvers ever made. The Remington in the Texas Buffalo version with an elongated barrel and brass frame. The 1858 model was the first to implement a closed frame design, granting unmatched structural durability over its Colt rivals.
Texas Buffalo is a 6-shot, percussion cap black powder revolver. Outfitted with a .44 caliber, 12-inch barrel, it delivers classic firepower. The polished brass closed frame contrasts with the black oxide finish on the steel barrel and cylinder. The ergonomic grip is crafted from walnut wood.
Mechanical sights include a fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight for precise shooting. Operating in Single Action, the trigger requires hammer cocking prior to each shot. The hammer mechanism provides two positions: half-cock for capping nipples and full-cock for firing.
A lever-loading rod (ramrod) is mounted beneath the barrel, designed for effective seating of lead balls in the cylinder chambers.

F.lli Pietta is an Italian manufacturer from Brescia, founded in 1963 by Giuseppe Pietta, which has combined tradition with precision craftsmanship from the very beginning. In 1966, the first shotguns were produced, and by 1974, the company had gained international recognition by fulfilling a contract for 10 000 replicas of revolvers such as the 1851 Navy, Colt Army, Remington, Paterson, and Le Mat. This success cemented Pietta's position as a specialist in faithful reconstructions of 19th-century weapons. The brand was one of the first to introduce the "100% made in Italy" label, emphasizing the quality of its products. Today, run by the founder's sons, Alessandro and Alberto, it is one of the most respected manufacturers of historical replicas, chosen by collectors, reenactors, and shooting enthusiasts around the world.

I bought it a few months ago. I didn't have time for the shooting range, so I haven't tried it yet. As a gadget on the wall, it's cool and makes an impression. Like a revolver on steroids. It's heavy and well made. I am sure that the barrel length translates into the bullet's power and accuracy. Cool thing.

Very good accuracy at 50 meters, I use lead bullets caliber 450 purchased at Militaria.pl. I also recommend the GFC gun case, where you can fit three weapons (short and long). I recommend it!
