They are expensive but I don't regret the purchase. With my usage they'll probably last me a lifetime. I like the option to tear out pages. The size is very small, but that's what I wanted - fits perfectly in the EDC bag. The little notebook would easily fit in some wallet pocket. Nice colors. Waterproof. You won't find anything better.

Although they are not cheap, they are worth their price. Tested during machine washing. Water, detergent, friction among clothes are no problem for them. The structure of the pages is not disturbed, they didn't tear even a millimeter, only got a little wrinkled after drying. Notes made with a pen or marker remain completely intact without any smearing, only those made with a pencil have faded a bit. If they came out almost unscathed from being tortured in the washing machine, then regular rain or falling into a stream will certainly not harm them.

I've been looking for something like this for a long time. The On-The-Go Rite in the Rain 3.375x2" set of waterproof notebooks fits the bill perfectly. The notebooks are not too big, just right to put in all sorts of pouches together with other essential EDC items. Very good quality.

The pages are not grid-lined, but for writing down necessary things, such a mini notebook is completely sufficient. If the best notebook is the one you have with you, then thanks to its small size, this one is very easy to carry and you can always have it with you.
