Tested on… myself. Tried to test how far the stream really reaches and got a bit in my eyes as a bonus. It was tough, I couldn't see for an hour. After an hour, one eye then the other opened. My face was burning even the next day. I recommend it, but not on yourself.

Handy bottle, everything as described. Worth having it with you during hikes. The gas brand is tried and recommended. Dimensions match the description, which is often rare.

The gas canister and the valve with a handle are solid and easy to use. If you're going to the mountains, I recommend removing the yellow safety band. Fortunately, it wasn't needed, but you can always be more confident against a bear on Morskie Oko etc.
