Savotta Lidded GP Pouch 4x5 - M05 Finnish Woodland Camo

The pouch in M05 Finnish Woodland Camo camouflage was designed with efficient gear organization in mind. The spacious compartment makes the model suitable as an additional pouch attached to a backpack, belt, or accouterment compatible with the PALS/MOLLE system. The construction allows for convenient and secure equipment transportation.

damage-resistant 1000D Cordura

The pouch is made of 1000D Cordura, characterized by very good resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The dense weave of the fabric increases its durability and reduces susceptibility to tears during intensive use. The fabric's structure also aids easy cleaning and limited moisture absorption, which is important while working in changing weather conditions. The use of NIR technology (Near Infrared Reflectance) limits detection by residual light amplifiers (night vision devices).

Closed construction, snow collar

Access to the spacious compartment is provided by a flap fastened with an SR buckle, which allows for quick access to the contents, while effectively protecting them from dirt and ensuring safe transport. The integrated drawstring snow collar enhances the protection of the contents against snow, moisture, and dirt, particularly during use in challenging field conditions. The additional layer of material helps better secure the main compartment and reduces the risk of small equipment parts accidentally falling out.

Compatibility with the MOLLE system

The back wall of the pocket is compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system, allowing it to be stably attached to a belt (45-50 mm wide), backpack, or other selected elements of accouterment. Additionally, a strap is placed at the front of the pouch for attaching equipment externally. The drainage hole located at the bottom ensures efficient discharge of water and debris.

M05 Finnish Woodland Camo Camouflage

M05 Finnish Camo (Finnish: M05 Maastokuvio) camouflage is a family of pixelated camouflage patterns introduced to the Finnish Defence Forces in 2005 as a successor to the M91 pattern. It was developed based on digital analysis of photographs of Finnish forests taken in different seasons by the Finnish Forest Research Institute. The M05 family includes several variants, including woodland, snow, and cold weather.

The main woodland version of M05 consists of patches in light green, dark green, brown, and dark graphite, effectively replicating the structure of Finnish forests. With similar vegetation and terrain conditions, the M05 Woodland camouflage is also effective in forests of Central and Eastern Europe, providing effective concealment in a natural environment.

Cordura feature
Cordura

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.

System MOLLE feature
System MOLLE

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.

PALS system feature
PALS system

PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.

NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) feature
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance)
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) is a material property of controlled reflection of radiation in the near-infrared (780-2500 nm) range, used primarily in tactical clothing and equipment. NIR-treated fabrics are designed to reduce the thermal emission and reflection of IR radiation, allowing the material's surface temperature to be kept close to ambient. This reduces the risk of detection of the wearer by electronic-optical surveillance systems, including night vision and infrared sensors. NIR technology significantly improves the effectiveness of camouflage in combat and low-light conditions.
