Engineered for challenging environments, the M05 Woodland backpack offers a 20-liter capacity, making it ideal for demanding terrain, daily tasks, or serving as an auxiliary pack alongside larger equipment. Featuring a slim silhouette and low-profile straps, this pack excels in both urban settings and field operations.

Constructed from highly durable and tear-resistant 500D Cordura, ensuring exceptional longevity in demanding environments. The fabric offers superior resistance to both mechanical abrasions and moisture.

The backpack comes outfitted with a main compartment that fully opens to provide effortless access to gear. Within this space, you’ll find a dedicated section designed to accommodate a 15.5-inch laptop or a hydration reservoir. Two stabilizing loops and a mounting handle are included for enhanced functionality. Both sides feature openings for a hydration system hose. Organization is optimized with two internal mesh zippered pockets inside the main compartment; the upper pocket is equipped with a D-ring for secure attachment of items like keys. The front panel incorporates a spacious external pocket that runs the length of the pack and measures about 3 cm in depth. All zippers are fitted with extended cord pulls for ease of use, even when wearing gloves.

Located on the front flap is a Velcro panel designed for attaching any patch or insignia, such as a national flag, unit badge, or so-called Morale Patches.

Fitted with straps adhering to the MOLLE/PALS standard at the base, the backpack provides versatile options for attaching extra pouches, gear, or containers—also compatible with carabiners, bungee cords, or straps. Side compression straps enable proper adjustment of the backpack’s volume in relation to its load.

The back panel is reinforced with thick, stiff foam, placed in an external Velcro-closed pocket. The insert can be removed and used as a mat for sitting or kneeling, and the pocket itself can be used to carry flat gear, such as tarps.

Contoured, padded shoulder straps are attached to steel D-rings, allowing them to fit different body types. The chest strap can be adjusted in height or completely detached.

The M05 camouflage (Finnish M05 Maastokuvio) represents a series of pixelated camo patterns adopted by the Finnish Defence Forces in 2005, replacing the older M91 design. Developed through digital analysis of photographs of Finnish forests captured during different seasons by the Finnish Forest Research Institute, the M05 range features multiple versions, including woodland, snow, and cold weather variants.

The primary woodland variant of M05 incorporates patches of light green, dark green, brown, and dark graphite, accurately mimicking the composition of Finnish forest environments. Thanks to vegetation and terrain similarities, M05 Woodland camouflage achieves effective concealment not only in Finland but also within the forests of Central and Eastern Europe, ensuring optimal performance in natural settings.
