The handy SCHSH1 Telescoping Folding Shovel manufactured by Schrade. The sharpened shovel is made of 1055 steel painted black. A steel nut with non-slip notches is used to secure it when unfolded.
Extendable after removing the locking mechanism, the shovel was made of steel. The handle can be locked in one of five positions. The handle with T-grip is covered with polypropylene with an anti-slip texture. It is reinforced on the inside with an aluminum rod.
The kit comes with a two snap-fastened pouch with belt mounts with a maximum width of 65 mm.

Made from cheaper CR13MoV steel, not 1055; weaker, but should be more rust-resistant. The edges were dull and require sharpening.

If you run with a metal detector, it is essential. And the fact that it is foldable makes it even better.

Very good and handy entrenching tool; its biggest advantage is that it is telescopic. Such a design means it has slight looseness, but it doesn't hinder its use. I RECOMMEND.
