Sencut Glenspar Folding Knife - Brown

A folding knife equipped with an 87.7 mm blade featuring a Clip-Point profile, crafted from high-performance, corrosion-resistant 9Cr18MoV stainless steel. Engineered for reliability, efficient ergonomics, and secure handling, this lightweight yet robust folder excels in a variety of outdoor and tactical scenarios.

hardened 9Cr18MoV stainless steel and protective coating

Forged from premium 9Cr18MoV stainless steel, the knife blade is hardened to a robust 58-60 HRC. This material offers exceptional hardness, impressive rust resistance, and excellent edge retention. A black protective coating gives the blade a matte finish and efficiently minimizes reflections.

Clip-point blade, flat grind, jimping

Equipped with a blade featuring a Clip-Point profile, a plain cutting edge, and an overall length of 87.7 mm, the model utilizes a flat grind for superior performance. Jimping is integrated into the spine of the blade, delivering a secure thumb rest and enhancing blade control during use.

Handle scales made of durable Micarta composite

The handle features an ergonomic design and is crafted from Micarta composite in a brown hue. Renowned for its superior mechanical strength, impact resistance, durability against abrasion, and ability to endure fluctuating weather, this material is a top choice for demanding conditions. A textured surface on the handle scales provides a reliable and secure grip, enhancing safety and control during knife use.

Crossbar Lock and thumb stud

Deployment of the knife is achieved through a double-sided thumb stud, with the opening action smoothly facilitated by integrated ball bearings. Secure blade lockup in the open position is provided by a durable Crossbar Lock.

spring clip, hole for lanyard

Transporting the tool is made straightforward thanks to a tip-up spring clip that enables secure attachment to a belt, pocket edge, or additional gear. A hole at the handle’s end permits the threading of a cord or lanyard, providing reliable retention and minimizing the risk of loss.

9Cr18Mov (9Cr18) feature
9Cr18Mov (9Cr18)
9Cr18MoV (9Cr18) is a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel containing approximately 0.85-0.95% carbon, 17-19% chromium, 1-1.3% molybdenum, and a small amount of vanadium. It is considered the Chinese equivalent of AISI 440A and 440B steel, offering similar parameters but with better edge durability and service life. It is characterized by high hardness (58-60 HRC), very good rust resistance, and long-lasting sharpness. The steel is used in knives, surgical instruments, and precision technical blades, providing a good compromise between hardness, strength, and environmental resistance.
Crossbar Lock feature
Crossbar Lock
Crossbar Lock is the general name of the mechanism used after the Benchmade patent expired in 2018. The design works on the same principle as the Axis Lock - a spring bar moves along the handle and locks the blade in the open position. The differences between manufacturers mainly concern the details of workmanship, materials, and the shape of the switches. The lock is double-sided, easy to use, and extremely popular in modern EDC knives. Thanks to its versatility, it has become the standard for many companies.
Micarta feature
Micarta
Micarta is a composite material made of layers of fabric (including canvas, linen, and paper) soaked in resin and pressed under high pressure and temperature. It is characterized by high mechanical strength, resistance to impact, abrasion, and changing weather conditions, as well as dimensional stability, which makes it ideal for knife handles. The surface of Micarta provides a secure grip and can be finished smooth or left with a slight texture to improve control over the tool. The material does not conduct heat or electricity, tolerates contact with moisture well, and acquires a characteristic patina over time, emphasizing the individual style of the knife. Thanks to its combination of durability, environmental resistance, and unique appearance, Micarta is widely used in EDC, outdoor, and collector's knives.
