Opening is facilitated by a dual-sided thumb stud or flipper. In the open position, the flipper serves as a small cross guard protecting the hand from slipping onto the cutting edge.
The ergonomically shaped handle consists of scales made from durable polypropylene with a non-slip texture. The ergonomic shape ensures a secure grip even when the hand is wet or dirty. Jimping in the thumb rest area provides greater tool stability. In the open position, the blade is locked by the popular and reliable liner lock system.
Daily carry is made easier by the spring steel clip tip-down type.
