Temperatures and conditions of use
The usage temperatures of the Tactical 4 sleeping bag are determined in accordance with the EN 13537 standard:
T-comfort: -12 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night
T-limit: -17 deg. C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort.
Paratex Steelplate construction, Thermal Suede One lining, and Reflectatherm
The outer layer of the sleeping bag is made from Paratex Steelplate material, which provides high breathability, good wind protection, and high moisture resistance due to the application of DWR impregnation (Durable Water Repellency). As a result, even during humid mornings in the field, dew drops will gather on the surface of the sleeping bag, preventing its soaking. The inner layer of the sleeping bag is made of lightweight Thermal Suede One and Reflectatherm materials. Thermal Suede One has a specially designed material structure that prevents moisture buildup inside the sleeping bag, generated by the body's heat condensation and low ambient temperature. Reflectatherm is a metallized fabric designed to reflect and retain heat inside the sleeping bag. This allows for a 15% increase in retained heat.
Inside the sleeping bag, around the feet area, there is a reinforced piece of material that, in addition to improving insulation properties, allows sleeping in shoes without fear of damaging the sleeping bag. There are also two small loops placed there, which enable easy hanging and airing of the sleeping bag.
Softie Premier filling
The sleeping bag's filling is Softie Premier, which provides good heat retention even in humid environments, and its soft structure makes the sleeping bag pleasant to the touch. The special proprietary fiber filling construction allows for hand and machine washing of the sleeping bag if necessary.
Two-way zipper, insulating strip
The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zipper from the renowned company YKK, located on the left side. Inside, there is a protective strip that prevents fabric from jamming in the zipper and limits heat loss. There is an option to connect two sleeping bags into one double with another model with the zipper on the opposite side.
Cold protection hood
Anatomically shaped hood enhances thermal protection, wrapping the head and preventing heat loss during low temperatures. Its shape also provides additional protection against wind and moisture.
