Encircling the boot, a rubberized rim combined with sealed seams delivers advanced protection, keeping water out even during extreme weather. The removable 9 mm-thick insole, crafted from recycled felt and finished with a Sherpa knit cuff integrated into the upper, enhances thermal insulation and blocks snow entry.

The lightweight, triple-layer sole is hand-coated with a specialized vulcanized rubber layer, providing enhanced resistance to abrasion and damage. A 2.5-millimeter midsole effectively cushions the foot and prevents cold from seeping in.
