Summit To Eat is in my top three freeze-dried meals, with a big gap before anything else. Salmon with pasta and broccoli is a delicious meal. For a normal appetite, the smaller portion is really fine. For a big appetite, go for the larger portion. Summit probably does not season its dishes so that everyone can adjust them to their own taste. It is worth adding a little salt to the salmon. But it is tasty even without it.

A very filling dish, the portion is suitable for an adult man. Perfect after a whole day of hiking in the mountains or other terrain. A wholesome meal in a lightweight package, so it's worth always having it with you, as it doesn't take up much space and doesn't weigh down your backpack. The dish is well seasoned and very tasty. I have also tried other meals from this company and each one tastes just as good.

The portion can be enough for lunch or one of the meals on the trail; 1000 kcal is sufficient even for a man. Well seasoned, nothing needs to be added. Filling and really tasty. Lightweight packaging, good for transport, for example in a backpack, and easy to prepare. It "cooked" properly. A big downside is the suggested amount of water: filling it to indicator A turns the dish into a soup—I recommend adding less. In my case, the dish was so watered down that it was impossible to finish eating it, hence the 4/5.

For me, the amount of water is perfect — it makes a very thick, compact dish. The taste is okay; you can optionally add some pepper. The cheese sauce is mild, so it isn’t sickly and you can easily eat the whole dish. 1000 kcal in this form is a lifesaver on the road. The portion is appropriate: rather on the smaller side, so it’s easier to eat, and the calories are there. I recommend it, especially for women, especially for vegetarians. On the downside: Some of the pasta did not cook through; it was hard or crunchy when bitten, despite being prepared according to the instructions. The package is hard to close, cheese powder gets into the zipper at the top of the bag, and then it is practically impossible to close it; for the pasta to cook, you have to fold it over and hold it.

It is a tasty and filling meal. All the Summit to Eat meals I have tried so far have tasted very good. Thanks to frequent promotions at Military, its price seems quite reasonable.

A large portion, but the flavor could be more pronounced - not salty or seasoned enough. It is definitely better not to add the maximum amount of water, because it becomes too watery

The salmon with pasta and broccoli is so tasty that I bought a few more packs. I added them to my supplies for possible trips or for a rainy day. The very long shelf life means they can just sit and wait.

Honestly, I eat more freeze-dried foods at home than on the trail—for me, food during a hike is a sensitive and important topic, so I test a lot. This goulash is really tasty, it doesn't need a ton of spices to taste 'okay.' For me, it’s part of my gear. An important aspect for me—it’s a real dish, not just a mush that tastes like something. I personally recommend it.

I appreciate that these meals have over 1000 calories, making them closer to a full-value meal after a long hike or while camping. Usually, products of this type offer only 500–600 calories, so I typically had to eat two, which meant higher cost and more weight to carry. I really enjoyed this meal and it was exactly what I needed after a whole day of walking.

I like to have something for a rainy day, and this is part of my food supply. The advantages of this product are its long shelf life and low weight. The varied menu and easy preparation increase the usability of this food. Polish product. I highly recommend it.

I appreciate that these meals have over 1000 calories – after an intense day camping and walking 27 km, I feel like I've eaten something substantial. Other meals of this type usually have only 500-600 calories, so I have to eat two, which means higher cost and more weight in my backpack. I really liked the taste of this dish and it worked great after a whole day of hiking.

I appreciate that these meals have over 1,000 calories, because after a full day of hiking, for example 27 kilometers while camping, you can really feel full after a solid meal. Many other dishes have only 500-600 calories, so I often have to eat two meals, which is obviously more expensive and heavier to carry. I really liked the taste of this dish and it was exactly what I needed after an exhausting day.

The dish is very tasty and nutritious. The portion is so large that it's enough for a whole meal; I can barely finish it, unless I've spent the whole day in the mountains, then it's just right. I won't describe the advantages of freeze-dried food. I recommend the product and the store.

I like to have something for a rainy day and this is a part of my emergency food supply. The advantages of this product are its long shelf life, low weight, and high caloric value. The varied menu and simplicity of preparation increase the usefulness of this food. I highly recommend it.

A very filling and energetic meal that works great in tough field conditions. The Chicken Fried Rice from Summit To Eat stands out for its high calorie content (over 1000 kcal), which really satisfies hunger and provides long-lasting energy. The taste is pleasantly oriental – the teriyaki sauce, pieces of chicken, and vegetables create a well-balanced combination. A big plus is also the large portion after preparation (enough for even two people) and the very simple preparation – just add hot water and wait a few minutes. It's a great choice for trekking, survival, or longer expeditions where high energy, convenience, and a solid meal matter.
