The latch is solid and holds well in the QD socket. I've been using it intensively and so far there are no problems with releasing it. The paint is wearing off, but this doesn't bother me in everyday use.

No. It doesn't stay in the socket. I bought 2 pieces and they pop out when pulled. Tested on a DD carabiner and in a Grot. In both cases, it pops out. The packaging says the product is dedicated to FAB QD sockets and does not work in other manufacturers' sockets, although it has 'standard' dimensions, which suggests it could be used. Wasted money. I do not recommend.

Well made, and probably the nicest QD in this price range. The fact that the paint slightly comes off over time doesn't bother me personally, for this price you shouldn't nitpick. After all, nothing lasts forever. I recommend it.

It works, fits the factory mounting holes in AERO M4A1, build quality is decent but that's all. Paint losses are visible. They are quite large, the ears could have been a little smaller. The price is attractive.
