Tasmanian Tiger Modular Pack SL IRR Backpack 30 l - Stone Grey Olive

Rucksack offering a 30-liter capacity and equipped with an adjustable Y2 carrying system. Engineered to maximize storage space while preserving a streamlined, discreet profile. Constructed from highly durable 700D Cordura for enhanced resistance to wear and tear.

Outer fabric treated with a hydrophobic DWR coating (free from hazardous PFC/PFAS chemicals) to boost moisture protection.

spacious main compartment and numerous pockets

Full access to the main compartment is ensured via a zipper, allowing the compartment to be completely opened. Inside, the compartment features multiple dividers, laser-cut MOLLE slots (Laser Cut), and velcro panels for mounting additional pouches—two compatible pockets are included in the set. The compartment also comes equipped with dedicated openings for routing an antenna or hydration tube.

A deep flat pocket is located on the front panel for carrying essential gear. The flap integrates 2 pockets, one of which features an organizer. Side compression straps provide the ability to stabilize the load and adjust the backpack’s volume.

MOLLE/PALS system, D-RINGS, AND STRAPS

The exterior of the backpack features laser-cut MOLLE slots along with PALS webbing, providing the ability to attach and configure additional pouches or gear as needed. Additional attachment points such as D-rings offer further options for securing extra equipment. Large straps are attached to the zippers to ensure easy operation, even when wearing gloves.

Materials used in the backpack are engineered with infrared emission reduction capabilities, minimizing visibility to thermal imaging devices. The specialized fabric coating diminishes infrared signatures within wavelengths detectable by thermal sensors, thus lowering the chance of detection during nocturnal missions or operations in environments monitored by IRR systems.

Adjustable Y2 carrying system with aluminum frame

Featuring an adjustable Y2 carrying system with an aluminum frame, this model ensures superior stability and optimal weight distribution. The SL (Short to Long) adjustment range enables users to tailor the system length to their height, delivering a comfortable fit for both shorter and exceptionally tall users.

Carry comfort is elevated by adjustable shoulder straps, a chest strap, and a waist strap with 2 pockets. The back is constructed from springy foam with breathable mesh, enhancing airflow and ventilation. Additionally, a robust transport handle provides the option to carry the pack by hand.

Velcro feature
Velcro

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.

Cordura feature
Cordura

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.

IRR feature
IRR

Materials with IRR (Infrared Reflective) properties are designed to maximize the absorption and minimize the mission of infrared radiation, which is important for camouflage and avoiding detection by observation devices such as night vision devices.

DWR feature
DWR

DWR (Durable Water Repellency) is a durable waterproofing treatment that increases the surface tension of water and creates a hydrophobic coating on materials. It protects the material from rapid soaking, improves drying, provides stain resistance and increases breathability.

System MOLLE feature
System MOLLE

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.

PALS system feature
PALS system

PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.

Laser Cut System feature
Laser Cut System

LCS (Laser Cut System) is a new version of the assembly used in the MOLLE system, where instead of traditional tapes, laser-cut holes are used directly in the material. The system is much lighter than standard sewn-on PALS tapes and guarantees better camouflage. The holes are hemmed with thread to prevent fuzzing and ripping, or, as in the case of Cordura, the laser-cut edges are fused.

Y2 feature
Y2
Y2 is an adjustable carrying system designed to ensure stability and effective weight distribution of the carried equipment. Its design includes anatomically contoured shoulder straps, a hip belt, and an adjustment element that allows the height of the system to be adjusted to the length of the user's back. Thanks to its individual adjustment options, the system allows for optimal fit to the body, relieves the shoulders by transferring part of the weight to the hips, and increases comfort during prolonged use.
