A faithful reproduction of the revolver first produced by the American firm Remington. Renowned as the world's first revolver to feature a closed frame design, the Model 1858 provided enhanced reliability and ruggedness. The 1858 New Army Target is a 6-shot black powder revolver utilizing percussion caps. Designed for muzzle loading, it comes fitted with a forged steel barrel chambered in .44 caliber and measures 8 inches in length.
Durable forged steel, blued finish
A closed frame crafted from forged steel and finished with a black oxide coating ensures durability. The grips utilize walnut wood for a classic appearance. The trigger guard is constructed from brass.

The Target variant is equipped with enlarged mechanical sighting elements, including a front sight and an adjustable rear sight.
Single Action trigger, loading lever
The trigger functions in Single Action mode, requiring the hammer to be manually cocked before firing each round.
