A first-class revolver, satisfaction from simply owning and spinning the cylinder is 200%.
A faithful reproduction of one of the most renowned revolvers in history, first produced by the American Colt company and directly based on the iconic 1873 Single Action Army design. The Cattleman variant is a breech-loading, black powder, 6-shot percussion-cap revolver.
Outfitted with a 5.5-inch .44-caliber barrel, the firearm has a fixed front sight and a rear iron sight. Both the frame and barrel are constructed from black-oxidized forged steel, mirroring the durability of the trigger guard and grip frame. Grip panels are crafted from fine walnut wood.
The Model 1873 Cattleman traces its lineage directly to the legendary Colt, the best-selling revolver that dominated Dodge City, Kansas. Its chief distinction lies in substituting compound cartridges with separate loading components.
Following its introduction for Bat Masterson at the Long Branch Saloon in Dodge City, the model quickly earned acclaim among law enforcement personnel, ranchers, bounty hunters, mercenaries, and outlaws across the "Wild West."

Uberti is an Italian manufacturer of historical firearm replicas, founded in 1959 in Gardone Val Trompia by Aldo Uberti. The company is famous for its faithful reproductions of revolvers, rifles, and shotguns from the Civil War and the Wild West, which, thanks to modern materials, often surpass the originals in terms of quality. Its replicas have appeared in Sergio Leone's cult westerns, such as “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” and “Once Upon a Time in the West,” as well as in “Dances with Wolves” starring Kevin Costner. Today, Uberti products are prized by collectors and used in Cowboy Action Shooting competitions, where both authenticity and reliability of the weapon are important.

The revolver works well, is well-fitted, and looks nice on the outside. Worth recommending.

To be honest, the product pleasantly surprised me. The precision of workmanship is higher than I expected. At the shooting range I had a chance to look at several-year-old Pietty revolvers and I must say they were much worse fitted and had more play.
