Adjustable cuffs, vents
The Monsoon XT Gen.2 jacket secures with a zipper. Wide flaps on both sides of the zipper offer protection from wind and moisture. Adjustable cuffs featuring Velcro allow for an improved fit around the wrist. Velcro panels at the upper sleeves provide space to attach various patches or insignias, such as a national flag, unit badge, or so-called Morale Patches, enabling personalization of the jacket.
Side zippers, when opened, act as ventilation and grant easier access to equipment worn underneath, such as items on a belt. Snaps at the hem secure the garment against unintentional unzipping.
Deep hood, air/pac inserts
Incorporated within the collar, the jacket features a deep, adjustable hood. The integrated Hood/Harness system ensures the hood moves seamlessly with the head, providing greater comfort and security against high winds by preventing the hood from being displaced.
Equipped with Air/Pac inserts on the shoulders, the design enhances air circulation and distributes the load from a backpack or tactical vest evenly across the shoulders.

Gore-Tex is a thin membrane made of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), which features a microporous structure. Its structure makes it highly water- and wind-resistant, as well as breathable. The membrane's pores are 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor, which allows it to efficiently wick moisture to the outside. Gore-Tex is widely used in the production of outdoor clothing and footwear.
Air/Pac is a modern system in clothing, consisting of lightweight, insulating inserts placed on the shoulders and back. It provides additional insulation and evenly distributes the weight of carried gear such as a backpack or vest, increasing comfort.
