Varusteleka L4 Field Jacket Uniform Jacket - M05 Finnish Woodland Camo
Combat shirt in M05 Finnish Camo camouflage, made from a durable material blend (50% cotton, 48% polyamide, 2% elastane), characterised by high resistance to abrasion and tearing. The loose fit allows warmer clothing layers to be worn underneath, while the slightly elastic Rip-Stop fabric ensures durability, freedom of movement and comfort.
durable fabric, Rip-Stop weave, elbow reinforcements
The L4 Field Jacket combat shirt was designed as an outer layer for field use and during intense activity. It is made from Rip-Stop weave fabric with a grammage of 220 g/m2, containing 50% cotton, 48% polyamide and 2% elastane, which ensures durability, flexibility and freedom of movement. The loose fit allows warmer layers to be worn underneath, while underarm ventilation, practically placed pockets and adjustable cuffs make it easier to adapt the shirt to the conditions of use and the equipment being carried. The elbows have been reinforced with Cordura fabric, which increases the jacket's resistance to abrasion in areas particularly exposed to wear. Additionally, the model is equipped with pockets intended for protective elbow inserts.
The fabric has been coated with DWR waterproofing, which limits water absorption and makes droplets run off its surface, providing better protection against moisture.
4 practical pockets
- 2 chest pockets closed with zippers
- 2 shoulder pockets closed with zippers
zip fastening, windproof strips
The shirt is fastened with a full-length two-way zipper . On the inside, a windproof strip has been used, while the outer zip cover is closed with buttons and velcro. The protective collar and extended back increase protection against wind and precipitation.
The hem can be adjusted using an elastic drawstring. The adjustment cord has been connected to the hem seam of the jacket rather than to the zipper, which improves the functionality of the solution. The velcro-adjustable cuffs allow the sleeve circumference to be fitted to the wrists. Underarm ventilation zippers enable quick release of excess heat during exertion.
NIR technology
The fabric has been treated with NIR, thanks to which it absorbs and reflects near-infrared radiation in a way similar to the natural forest environment, effectively reducing the contrast of the silhouette in night vision devices.
Velcro straps
At chest height, on the zip cover and on the shoulders, velcro panels (velcro) have been placed, enabling the attachment of emblems, identification markings and patches.

M05 Woodland camouflage
The M05 camouflage (Finnish M05 Maastokuvio) is a family of pixelated camouflage patterns introduced into the Finnish Defence Forces in 2005 as a successor to the M91 pattern. It was developed based on digital analysis of photographs of Finnish forests taken in different seasons by the Finnish Forest Research Institute. The M05 family includes several variants, such as woodland, snow, and cold weather.
The main woodland version of M05 consists of patches in light green, dark green, brown, and dark graphite, effectively replicating the structure of Finnish forests. Due to similar vegetation and terrain conditions, the M05 Woodland camouflage also performs well in the forests of Central and Eastern Europe, providing effective concealment in natural surroundings.

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.
DWR (Durable Water Repellency) is a durable waterproofing treatment that increases the surface tension of water and creates a hydrophobic coating on materials. It protects the material from rapid soaking, improves drying, provides stain resistance and increases breathability.
Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.
