The mount looks solid. It is mounted on a .308 win rifle with a varmint barrel. And this medium size is really high, a scope with a 56 mm lens fits easily and there is still about 10 mm to the barrel. I hope it holds up on this caliber. Overall, I recommend this mount.

Review for model:

The mount is a very basic version, bought for the Vortex Venom EBR-7C scope on a .22LR rifle and it works perfectly for this setup. However, it doesn't work so well for .308Win. The heavy scope and significant recoil cause the aluminum it is made of to be heavily stressed and it doesn't perform very well. It's possible it could still be suitable for .223REM. The advantages are the low price (for the .308Win I bought a Spuhr QDP-4616 for almost the price of the Vortex), and if someone shoots only with .22LR this mount is completely sufficient...
