Featuring lightweight yet durable polyurethane foam and offering a high insulation rating of R-Value 2.9, it provides reliable protection from cold and uneven terrain.
The Badger Outdoor Nightpack sleeping bag’s operational temperatures are specified in accordance with the EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: +9 deg. C – represents the lowest temperature at which a woman can have a comfortable, undisturbed night’s sleep,
- T-limit: +4 deg. C – indicates the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without experiencing discomfort,
- T-extreme: -4 deg. C – marks the lowest temperature where survival inside the sleeping bag is feasible; not advised for regular use.
A substantial thickness of 3.8 cm ensures superior comfort and robust insulation against rough and cold ground. The outer layer made from Honeycomb polyester material stands out for its excellent resistance to abrasion and mechanical wear. Internally, a core of self-expanding PU foam draws in air automatically when the valve is opened, granting the mat optimal bounce and support. Air leakage is effectively prevented thanks to a patented valve system.
Transport is made convenient thanks to the compression strap with Velcro and protective cover. The package also comes with a repair kit for added utility.
Packed down, the mat reaches compact dimensions of 29 x 14 cm, allowing for effortless storage in a backpack.
