Great sunglasses that work well for sports, driving, and even on a boat or while cycling. They also protect your eyes from the sides, and the blue Captivate lenses provide a very clear image. I found them at the best price at Military EU, so the decision to purchase was easy.
Wiley X Gravity Tactical Glasses - Captivate Polarized Green Mirror / Kryptek Neptune
Lightweight, comfortable, and ergonomically designed tactical eyewear. The mechanical durability of the lenses shields the eyes from shrapnel, ricochets, and airborne debris. Certified to meet class F standards (protection from objects weighing 0.86 g traveling at 45 m/s).
Wiley X ranks among the top providers of eye protection for the United States military, sports professionals, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Frames made of Triloid material
Frames sculpted from Triloid nylon and lenses crafted from shatter-resistant Selenite polycarbonate deliver robust durability and comply with ANSI Z87.1+ ballistic protection and EN166 F standards. The contoured frame design guarantees a secure, comfortable fit that remains unobtrusive when wearing headphones or hearing protection. Equipped with rubberized, non-slip temple arms and nose pads, these glasses stay firmly in place during active use. The removable Facial Cavity Seal offers a close, protective seal around the face, shielding eyes from wind, dust, and other environmental hazards.
polycarbonate lenses with T-shell coating and Captivate technology
Lenses featuring 12% light transmission paired with the CAPTIVATE polarization filter embedded between lens layers concentrate light on a single plane in bright sunlight, block blinding solar glare, amplify brightness, and enhance depth perception. Offering protection against harmful ultraviolet rays, including UVA and UVB, as well as blue light (HEV), these lenses safeguard your eyes efficiently. In overcast or rainy weather, contrast of objects is notably improved, greatly enhancing visual quality, delivering optimal clarity, and ensuring total visual comfort. Such eyewear is especially recommended for drivers, skiers, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Anti-reflective coating effectively removes unsettling light reflections, stopping rays from rebounding into the eyes, which can distort vision and lead to eye strain. As a result, clarity is superior to standard Captivate lenses. Equipped with a T-Shell Scratch resistant coating, the glasses are shielded from lens scratches. An oleophobic coating ensures that dust, dirt, oils, snow, and water do not accumulate on the lens surface.

The HEV (High Energy Visible) filter provides protection from harmful blue light emitted by computer screens, smartphones and sunlight. The HEV filter in the glasses increases overall visual comfort and protects eye health.
T-Shell is a coating on Wiley X glasses that resists scratches, protects lenses from damage and extends their life.
Facial Cavity is a cap that provides protection from the elements and excessive sidelight. With soft foam seals, the glasses block dust, pollen and wind, preventing eye irritation. They eliminate peripheral light, which improves optical clarity.
Captivate lens technology is an advanced filter system used in sunglasses that aims to improve the quality of vision by filtering out harmful light and improving color perception and contrast.
The Oleophobic coating repels dirt, oil, water and other substances, so the lenses stay cleaner and easier to maintain. The technology makes the lenses more durable and comfortable to wear.
EN166F is the European standard for protection against the impact of accelerated objects (Medium Energy Impact). Class F mechanical strength means that, according to the standard, the frame and visors of the glasses will withstand the impact of a steel BBs with a diameter of 6 mm and a weight of 0.86 g, traveling at 45 m/s (162 km/h).

Excellent black sunglasses from Wiley X. I particularly like the Gravity series because it guarantees durability and an attractive appearance. The option to change the lenses yourself is a really huge advantage! This is a product I definitely recommend!

Nice, comfortable and durable glasses that provide a very nice image. Bought for knife fighting training as well as outdoor activities, they serve their purpose. They stay well on the head, do not fall off or pinch. I recommend them.

In general, I haven’t used them yet. After getting to know them initially, I can immediately say that the lenses are amazing. They provide pleasantly accurate color reproduction and proper sharpness, even when looking at a monitor. Compared to older glasses I bought a few years ago with lenses from the same company, there is a noticeable improvement in quality. As for the frames themselves, nice matte color. Short temples. They won’t suit everyone, but there’s an option to secure them with a strap. The glasses sit well on the head, but it seems that the strap might be useful for extra security, especially when you attach the anti-fog and anti-dust insert. Especially if someone puts these glasses on for motorcycle or bicycle rides. Overall, I recommend them. But only for a small or medium head. For a large head, I’d choose a different model, but with the lenses used here.

My old Oakley glasses are quite decent, but they’re already a good few years old. I’ve gotten somewhat bored with them, and under the pretext that they don’t look so nice anymore, they're somewhat scratched and generally out of fashion—here I smile significantly—I decided to look for some sort of replacement. The goal was to find durable sunglasses, suitable for any situation and terrain, which have polarized lenses and are well-covered from the sides to minimize distracting side glare while driving. And I must admit, when I tried on the Wiley X Gravity glasses with Captivate Polarized Grey lenses for the first time, I was stunned. It was a beautiful, sunny day. I took off my old specs and put on these Wiley's. The image was razor-sharp, a smile spread across my face, and my jaw dropped in amazement! The sky was beautifully blue, with lighter or darker clouds here and there. Here, Oakleys don't fall that far behind. But the detail visible on the ground, the quality of the trees, even single leaves, was absolutely stunning. The image so vivid, so sharp, so clearly three-dimensional that my several-year-old Oakleys didn’t stand a chance. And it’s not because they were very scratched or dirty, because they weren’t. A few years’ difference in manufacturing caused such a major leap in lens-making and coating technology that you notice it within a second of putting on these new Wiley glasses. Unfortunately, I have a big head and, even though I really like their fit, they’re a bit too tight for me (interested buyers should pay attention to the glasses’ size!), they slide off my nose, and with the Facial Cavity Seal fitted, they don’t sit snugly against my face. I don’t know how much of that is a bad design and how much is my face shape, but I do know one thing—I put the Gravity glasses in a locker and today I’m picking up another, bigger pair of Wiley’s, definitely with Captivate Polarized Grey lenses, and I’m not even waiting for the refund from the store because I want to enjoy them over the long weekend.
