Hi. I bought the backpack over a month ago and since then I have been using it every day in various conditions. This backpack is very good, it has nice and functional pockets where I can pack whatever I need for the day. The backpack is appropriately stiff so you don't carry it like a hanging rag on your back. The zippers work well so far, but they tend to catch, although this is probably because they are hidden under the collar—in any case, it's not a problem. I think the backpack will serve its purpose as a workhorse for everyday use in various conditions. The carrying system is good, although honestly, I don't quite understand why the sponge that touches the back snags on the belt or just pants—maybe it's a matter of my height or the length setting of the straps. I rate the backpack as very good, but definitely too expensive. I think 400 PLN would be the maximum it should cost. Greetings to all military enthusiasts.
Wisport Sparrow 303 Backpack 30 l - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland
Compact survival and military backpack with a 30-liter capacity, crafted from rugged 1000D Cordura fabric. The main compartment, along with two front pockets, features two-way zippers from the renowned Belgian brand Kroko, all secured with protective flaps.
Spacious main compartment, numerous pockets and practical compartments
Within the main compartment, two flat mesh pockets with zippers are positioned on the flap, while an elastic flat pocket is mounted along the rear panel. The main section is accessible via a zipper that opens the flap along three sides, ensuring a wide, flat entry.
The upper front pocket, sized at 28 x 18 x 6 cm, features a Velcro panel designed for fixing emblems or Morale Patches. The interior organizer consists of six compartments in assorted sizes, complemented by a flat mesh pocket secured with a zipper. Elastic loops sewn into the dividers provide quick and convenient access to smaller items such as pens and similar accessories.
The lower pocket, with dimensions of 28 x 26 x 6 cm, incorporates a drawstring for attaching gear that cannot be stored inside the pack. Inside, a large Velcro field facilitates the attachment of items such as a tear-away first aid kit, ensuring that critical equipment is kept consistently in place and within easy reach.
Both sides of the backpack are equipped with elastic side pockets suitable for carrying a water bottle or other small essentials. The base features a flat, Velcro-closed pocket ideal for storing items like a rain cover or folding mat. Four frame buckles are also positioned at the bottom, allowing for the secure attachment and transport of additional gear such as a sleeping pad using extra straps.
AFS panel made of EVA foam, lightweight frame, quick release adjustable shoulder straps
Ergonomically contoured AFS back panel (Air Foam System—quick-drying EVA foam featuring closed-cell structure, resistant to moisture and dirt), together with a durable fiberglass frame set within a dedicated back channel, work in tandem with detachable chest and hip belts to construct a carrying system that guarantees pack stability. Enhanced comfort is provided by quick-release, anatomically shaped shoulder straps with adjustable length.
Special pocket for hydration system
A zippered compartment for a hydration bladder (camelbak) is located on the exterior side of the back panel, featuring a hose port and two attachment points (one on each shoulder strap) to secure the hose. An additional loop for hanging the backpack is stitched above the hose port.
Compression straps for adjustment, MOLLE system, carrying handle
Compression straps featuring fastex buckles enable easy adjustment of the backpack’s volume according to its load. A large carrying handle is positioned at the top for convenient transport.
The sides and shoulder straps are equipped with PALS webbing from the MOLLE system, designed for attaching essential gear to the exterior of the pack.
5 year warranty, Pin and Velcro patch included in set
The set features an air force chess pin alongside a patch inspired by the legendary symbolism of the 303 Squadron.

This is a great backpack – very durable, feature-rich, comfortable and well thought out in terms of design. This is already my second Wisport backpack, the previous one lasted almost twenty years of regular use. If this one is just as durable, I probably won't ever buy another backpack of this size – that prospect is a bit overwhelming. In summary, the product stands out for its very high quality, and I feel satisfied that I can support a brand that makes its products in Poland, instead of outsourcing production abroad.

The backpack is spacious, especially the main compartment. The two front compartments are also quite large, material is very good. The two side pockets are stretchable for drinks, all of this makes this backpack great.

Very good quality, spacious backpack, and although it looks simple, it's solidly made. The material seems durable, there are no plastic linings inside the pockets, and there is enough space. So far, it is really nice to wear—how long will it last? We'll see ;) But I recommend it.

Great backpack, very sturdy. The pocket layout is practical, and the dividers between them are very solid. The mesh pockets in the main compartment are very sturdy, to my pleasant surprise. The only problem is that the zipper is sewn the other way around than usual, so it wears out faster. After less than a year of use (I use it for school), the threads holding the zipper teeth have completely worn out in the main compartment at the corners of the backpack.

Great backpack. Large and well-made. As for its utility, in my case, a separate laptop compartment in the main pocket would be better, instead of a small pocket with an elastic band. But that's a personal preference, depending on how you use it (for me, it's an urban backpack). I also miss Velcro straps in the main compartment (for attaching additional inserts), but that's also a personal preference. Overall, it's worth every penny, very well-made, spacious, with the ability to adjust compression to the load, and with good internal organization. I was a bit surprised by its weight, but the comfortable shoulder straps more than make up for it. The backpack is great to carry, even when fully packed.
-
Great backpack, carefully made, very practical thanks to two external pockets and large capacity. It's a pity there is no hook or holder for a hydration bladder inside. I definitely recommend both this backpack and the online store.

I bought the backpack in gray to move away from military colors a bit. Here was a pleasant surprise: Wisport's gray is somehow "deeper" than that of other manufacturers, with a slight bottle-green tint. Functionality is a plus; the side and front pockets are really useful, and it doesn't have an excessive amount of molle straps like the previous version. The EDC organizer isn't anything special, just like in earlier models. Instead of elastic bands to restrain excess straps, I recommend buying velcro strap winders (from our Asian friends), and sliding the elastic bands onto the buckle connections—that effectively eliminates their rattling, which unfortunately still occurs. The biggest downside of the backpack is the annoyingly jamming zippers, and the culprit here is the rain flaps. Forget about smooth, one-handed opening and closing of the pockets without first folding back the flap. You'll need both hands for that. Maybe over time this will improve as the Cordura softens a bit; for now, it's not great. Still, with that hope in mind, I'm giving it five stars.

This is my second Wisport backpack. I own the Sparrow II 20L. I bought the Sparrow 303 because it solves several issues I had with the 20L version. The two front pockets definitely replace the single larger pocket, which makes it easier to search for or organize things. Secondly, there are side pockets for bottles/canteens/thermo mugs. In the 20L version, I have an additional Wisport bottle pocket attached. But in the 303, I can fit a thermo mug and a canteen in the pockets, so they don't take up space inside. The bottom pocket is useful for a rain cover, for example, so I don't need to keep it in the main compartment. In the lower front pocket, I can easily store a first aid kit, whereas in the 20L version I had a separate pouch attached for it, which hung in the middle of the backpack and didn't look good. The quality and workmanship of the 303 are top-notch, just like the 20L version. The only downsides I see for now are too few MOLLE straps and, maybe a minor thing, but there aren’t any ribbon loops with a carabiner or ring inside the two pockets to securely attach keys and keep them organized. It would have been enough to have just a couple of simple loops like the one for hanging the backpack—would be perfect. The 20L version has two such straps, which I value highly as they are very useful. Also, the hip belt, as others have mentioned, could be a bit more comfortable. I use the backpack mainly for everyday use, but its range of applications is as wide as the hip belt :D The price is high, although the craftsmanship and Polish production (which I greatly appreciate for any product) are excellent. It would be nice if the backpack was cheaper—even the 20L version now costs almost twice as much as I paid a few years ago... :O I hope it will serve me as well as the 20L version, which I use daily and has had no issues. If you can afford it, I definitely recommend it (let’s support our own!). Given the quality and my experience with the 20L Sparrow, this backpack will last for many, many years!

If you're looking for a backpack that's more suitable for the city than for the outdoors (of course, this doesn't mean it's completely unsuitable for outdoor use), you've just found it, and it's still a great Wisport :)

Wisport to Wisport. I replaced my worn-out previous Sparrow with this one and I am very satisfied. The compartment layout is much better and overall it is more comfortable than the previous model.

An inexpensive backpack that holds quite a lot. The construction is quite popular among many manufacturers, such a typical military cube. There are lots of colors and camouflage options, which is a big plus. Quite sturdy, with dividers inside so you can somewhat organize your gear. I recommend it at this price.

Not much more to say, the backpack is solid, sturdy, bought as a classic tourist/expedition pack as well as for use as carry-on luggage on planes due to its fairly compact size but incredible packing capacity (if needed, you can remove the frame during inspection and it will fit for sure), and specifically chosen in khaki color so it doesn't stand out too much to the average person. The backpack is thoughtfully designed, with good pockets, but not without flaws: firstly, the top pocket with organizer is a bit hard to access - the zipper doesn't open enough, which makes visibility inside poor. Secondly, the organizer itself is definitely not suitable for school or office supplies, because even though it looks that way, the holders are designed too low and no pen or pencil fits vertically (the pocket is too short). Thirdly, and more subjectively, for this rather high price in the chosen color, the company could have included a dedicated rain cover, for which there is a special pocket at the bottom, just like in the cheaper Ranger model, plus lower straps for strapping things. The rest will become clear after longer use. As for the construction, functionality, harness adjustment, and carrying comfort, I recommend it.

A very nice and practical backpack, although I thought it would be organized differently inside. However, I really like the design as well as the comfort of wearing it. Another advantage is that the additional straps allow you to securely attach extra pouches to the side straps.

A very successful backpack model. I've been using it for over two years. Functional. The only note for buyers is that the manufacturer does not inform that the warranty "The backpack is covered by a 5-year manufacturer's warranty" does not apply to zippers, which have a one-year warranty. Just a detail.
