6 mm balls are the standard ammunition used in ASG replicas. Depending on the propulsion system used, the energy of the shot, as well as the barrel, the balls can be used in different weights (from 0.12 g to even 0.43 g). The balls can have different colors (camouflage colors used in order to make the shooting position more difficult to detect) and also the material of manufacture, such as making it easier to disassemble in the field (Bio-degradable balls, made from corn).
