CRKT, or rather Columbia River Knife & Tools was founded in 1994 by Rod Bremer in Tualatin, Oregon. The idea of this manufacturer is to create both folding and fixed-head knives, essentials, whetstones and other accessories. The philosophy of this company is to combine the designs of well-known knifemakers such as Ken Onion or Ryan Johnson and reasonably inexpensive but durable materials.
