A hiking jacket is a type of outerwear that is designed to protect the wearer from adverse weather conditions, such as rain, snow or strong wind. When looking for a hiking jacket, also pay attention to multi-season jackets. This type of jackets will work well both in warmer weather and during colder days. Some multi-season jackets are equipped with an additional warm fleece, which can be detached from the jacket on warmer days.
