The paper sachet with 21 tablets is thin and light, so it easily fits even in a small backpack pocket. I bought these sugar-free tablets with the car first aid kit in mind, to support myself in case of fatigue during long routes. I haven't had the chance to try them yet, but I chose them because of their functionality. Caffeine from guarana is absorbed by the body more slowly and stably than that from coffee, which makes it a great accessory to keep in the car in case of a sudden need for energy. An additional advantage is that this product does not melt in heat, unlike chocolate.

I thought it was a more expensive version of the popular Kopiko candies. But this is a whole different league. I tried them when I hit a crisis after a night ride during an ultramarathon. You can't always have hot coffee, but you can always have a pack like this with you.

Definitely for lovers of coffee without sugar. A solid dose of caffeine. There are some not-so-great additives in the ingredients, but as an emergency energy booster, it can do the trick. The packaging survived being soaked in heavy rain, it didn't soften.
