Alpha Industries M-65 Hybrid Sherpa Field Jacket - Replica Blue

A navy blue jacket combining the characteristic construction of the M65 model with a shorter cut inspired by bomber jackets. As a result, it retains a military look while also matching urban and casual outfits. The nylon outer layer and polyester filling create a lightweight construction designed for cooler days.

The well-thought-out cut is complemented by elastic drawstrings at the cuffs and hem, which ensure a very good fit and reduce wind getting underneath. The high stand-up collar protecting the neck is equipped with a concealed hood.

The outer layer is made of 100% nylon. The fabric limits wind penetration and, combined with synthetic insulation enhances thermal comfort when wearing the jacket in cooler conditions.

The body is finished with a polyester lining, while the sleeves feature a nylon lining. The smooth sleeve finish makes it easier to put the jacket on over additional layers of clothing.

The jacket's insulation is provided by a filling made of 100% polyester. Placed between the outer layer and the lining, the insulation creates an insulating layer that helps reduce heat loss and improves comfort when wearing the jacket on cooler days. The filling is distributed throughout the construction, providing an even insulating layer in the body and sleeves.

The jacket is equipped with 4 front pockets with flaps. 2 of them are placed at chest height, while 2 larger ones are located lower, around the hips. This layout is characteristic of M65 field jackets.

The pockets provide easy access to the most essential items. They can hold a phone, wallet, keys, gloves, cap, or other accessories. The flaps cover the pocket openings and effectively reduce the risk of the contents slipping out during movement.

An additional pocket fastened with a zipper is placed on the left sleeve. Its location allows quick access to small items that should remain close at hand. Next to the pocket there is a red RBF Tag with the words Remove Before Flight.

The front of the jacket is fastened with a zipper running from the bottom edge all the way to the collar. An outer snap-fastened placket covers the zipper along its entire length. Once fastened, it creates an additional layer protecting against contact with wind and cold. The snaps stabilise the placket in place while also allowing it to be opened quickly.

The high stand-up collar effectively protects the neck from the cold. Inside it there is a hood that can be taken out when needed. When unfolded, it provides additional head protection against wind and light precipitation.

The bottom edge is finished with an elastic drawstring. It stabilises the jacket's position and limits it from riding up during movement. Knitted drawstrings are also used at the cuffs - they adapt to the wrists and reduce the entry of cold air under the sleeves.

The jacket is made in a Regular Fit cut ensuring full freedom of movement. The construction does not fit tightly to the body, so you can comfortably wear a sweatshirt or sweater underneath.

There are epaulettes fastened with snaps on the shoulders. This detail refers to the classic construction of field jackets and emphasises the military character of the model.
