Alpinus Girdiman Jacket - Green

A lightweight green hardshell jacket crafted from resilient 20D nylon, featuring a waterproof Hydrotex membrane that delivers waterproof protection and breathability rated at 20,000 mm/m2. The exterior material is treated with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating to guard against moisture and dirt. Designed for versatility, the jacket is ideal for both outdoor adventures and daily wear.

2.5-layer material structure, high breathability and waterproofness

Constructed from lightweight yet robust nylon, the jacket features a 2.5-layer design and integrates a Hydrotex membrane. With a breathability and waterproof rating of 20,000 g/m2, the jacket ensures optimal airflow while reliably shielding against rain and snow. The exterior is treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that is free from hazardous PFCs. For additional moisture defense, taped seams are incorporated. Enhanced visibility and safety during nighttime movement is provided by reflective elements.

Waterproof YKK zippers, adjustable cuffs, deep hood

The Girdiman model features a waterproof YKK AquaGuard zipper and a high stand-up collar designed to shield the neck from the wind. Adjustable Velcro cuffs with elastic inserts ensure enhanced protection for the hands against cold. Drawstrings at the hips and a deep, adjustable hood guarantee an optimal fit. A compression bag is included with the set.

Two roomy hip pockets offer easy access to your gear, both secured with waterproof YKK zippers to shield the contents from moisture.

The pockets are practical, and the jacket does not take up much space when folded. I am satisfied with the purchase.

    I bought it for running on days when it's raining. It worked well as outerwear both during rain and snow. Of course, it's very thin, but it insulates well from liquids. It's a bit worse with the wind, but for urban conditions, you don't need anything more.
