They fulfill their role, they are quite thin, such spring and summer socks. I have been using them for a week, it seems that they really do not tend to pick up unpleasant odors, although a lot probably depends on the person, their age, and the condition of their shoes... There are no miracles. The socks are comfortable, I really appreciate the little tongue at the back, which in socks with a very short cuff prevents the sock from slipping down the heel. This is a common problem with footies, but here it's okay, big plus, especially since the socks are not tight.
