The larger capacity is useful for longer trips. The backpack is comfortable, fits well on the back, and offers a reasonable division of space. The material is solid and resistant to wear.

I used the backpack for three years. The carrying system and the nice color (I had the blue one) are its biggest advantages. The capacity is actually smaller than 35 liters, but winter avalanche gear and crampons fit inside. However, I had to replace the first version right away because the zippers broke. In the second one, after two years, the pockets started developing holes, the carrying system began to wear through, and eventually one of the main zippers broke, so I had to throw the backpack away. I had hoped it would last longer.

The Alpinus Tarfala 35 L backpack performed well during mountain hikes. My daughter is very happy with the backpack, and after our trip to the mountains, we can confirm that it worked really well. Comfortable, practical, and solidly made. I definitely recommend it! 🏔️🎒

Great backpack for beginners. Comfortable carrying system which works really well in the mountains. The only thing to complain about is the capacity, which is smaller than declared.
-
The backpack is generally fine and quite comfortable, but it has two significant drawbacks: the capacity is much smaller than the declared 35 liters—actually even half as much—and carrying an iPad in the dedicated pocket is very uncomfortable due to the stiff, inward-curved back. If I had known this, I wouldn't have decided to purchase it.

The harness and ventilation mesh are excellently designed, which makes the backpack comfortable even when it is completely full. However, I get the impression that its actual capacity is less than 35 liters, and the pockets seem a bit tight.
-
Overall, the backpack is fine, but its capacity is a bad joke. It says it has 35 liters, but when you compare it to the Wisport 303, which is 30 liters, this one barely has 20 liters. The pockets are very narrow, only suitable for slipping in a thin magazine. The main pocket pushes everything out, just like the others. They could have made more but smaller pockets in the second compartment for little things.

Very comfortable backpack, it feels durable; I think it will become my favorite for short forest trips. However, I agree with another reviewer – the capacity is probably not 35 liters, but closer to 25-30 liters. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with the purchase.

I have been using this backpack (Tarfala 35L) for the first season. I switched from the Alpinus Lecco 30L. I rate backpacks of this brand very highly for the quality of workmanship, the materials used, comfort, ergonomics - the arrangement and number of pockets, and durability. I deduct one star for what I believe is an incorrectly stated capacity. The Tarfala is much less spacious than the Lecco, which, according to Alpinus, has a capacity of 30 liters. It is possible that the fault lies with the frame and mesh used (a very comfortable solution during summer usage) and the rain cover occupying the bottom pocket. Comparing these two backpacks and considering that the Lecco has 30 liters, the Tarfala does not have more than 25 liters of actual capacity. Apart from that, the backpack is excellent. I use it every day while cycling - 25 km. This is probably the most comfortable model I’ve ever had. The military "duffels" can’t even be compared to the Tarfala from Alpinus in terms of everyday comfort. I highly recommend it, but keep in mind the actual capacity.
