The AM-005 rifle replica from Amoeba Airsoft draws inspiration from classic AR-type assault rifles and incorporates modern enhancements to boost ergonomics and operational efficiency. Several innovative features have been added to increase user comfort and refine the overall styling.

With its streamlined profile, the AM-005 offers exceptional agility and is perfectly suited for rapid airsoft skirmishes in CQB settings. The receiver is crafted from reinforced nylon, providing outstanding durability. Its realistic texture closely mimics metal and is often mistaken for aluminum at first look.

The receiver showcases precise markings, such as the model designation, caliber information, and the Amoeba Airsoft emblem. Metal elements include the outer barrel, thread cap, and various smaller parts. An ergonomically contoured pistol grip features a textured, non-slip surface for superior handling and increased control.

An oversized magazine release enhances reload speed and efficiency. Outfitted with a lightweight polymer stock, the rifle allows for convenient side-folding. Standard hop-up adjustment is accomplished by pulling back the charging handle, exposing the ejection port.

AM-005 is equipped with a 22 mm RIS top rail that enables attachment of a range of accessories, including scopes, red dot sights, and tactical lasers. Iron sights come installed by default. The front houses a short RIS rail supporting a tactical grip (included) or other tactical add-ons. The outer barrel includes a sound suppressor installed on a 14 mm right-hand thread. Quick spring swap capability is offered, eliminating the need to disassemble the gearbox.

Internally, the rifle is powered by a reinforced V2 gearbox that features an integrated EFCS – Electronic Firing Control System. This system enhances trigger responsiveness, streamlines operation, and reduces motor lag when the trigger is engaged. The standard mechanical contact switch is replaced by an electronic platform. Integrated into the EFCS is a MOSFET unit to safeguard internal wiring from electrical surges.

The EFCS technology ensures extended longevity for internal components and permits safe usage with high-output batteries, including LiPo cells.

Included in the package is a hi-cap magazine with a 300 BBs capacity. The magazine body is constructed from durable steel, delivering superior impact resistance.
