Tablets for water purification in containers such as wells. Apparently, you can also use them in larger quantities during floods. Fortunately, I haven't had to test that. They come in a plastic package, which is good for transport.

The tablets went into my evacuation backpack as one of the essential pieces of equipment. They are lightweight, inexpensive, and, in case of lack of access to drinking water, could prove invaluable. I bought them with hard times in mind, for an emergency situation requiring well water purification. I hope I never have to use them. I hope that as part of my "prepper" gear, they will work well—especially as a backup water purification solution.
