ASG Action Army AAP-01 Green Gas GBB Pistol - FDE

Gas-powered AAP-01 pistol replica featuring a lightweight and robust polymer framework and slide. Out of the box, the replica delivers an initial muzzle velocity of 295 FPS, and its realistic Blow-Back system ensures an immersive shooting experience. The framework also includes a unique serial number for added authenticity.

Polymer construction, 14 mm CCW thread

The frame and slide are constructed from lightweight yet robust polymer reinforced with fiberglass. The build incorporates mechanical aiming devices, featuring a rear sight and a fiber optic front sight. Enhanced operability is provided by an ambidextrous slide catch and a reversible magazine release, ensuring optimal use for both left- and right-handed operators. A standard 14 mm left-handed thread enables easy mounting of a suppressor.

Blow-Back, adjustable Hop-Up

The model features a Blow-Back mechanism, which cycles the slide with every shot to authentically replicate real firearm recoil. An initial BB velocity of 295 FPS provides strong performance, while a TM standard adjustable Hop-Up system enhances shot precision. Dual trigger protection and an added safety, implemented as a sliding switch positioned above the trigger on the frame, help prevent accidental discharges.

Fire selector, 22 BB magazine

Featuring a fire selector positioned at the rear of the slide, the replica enables users to switch between single and full auto modes. The supplied magazine accommodates 22 BBs and offers compatibility with G-Series magazines from brands including Tokyo Marui, WE, KJW, and VFC.

Main features

  • Durable fiberglass-reinforced polymer construction for enhanced longevity
  • Ambidextrous operation for user convenience
  • Selectable fire modes including semi-auto and full-auto
  • 22-round magazine capacity, compatible with G-Series (TM, WE, KJW, VFC) models
  • 14 mm CCW threaded barrel for mounting suppressors
  • Fiber optic sight systems for improved target acquisition

Overall, the replica looks good, but when firing, either at the very beginning it misfires, gets blocked, and the slide cannot feed the next BB. If you want to shoot for a longer time or go to a skirmish with this pistol, you need to have quite a solid financial background to tune it and change some factory parts. I do not recommend the replica—I advise looking for something maybe a bit more expensive, but better in my opinion.

I highly recommend this replica. It doesn't cost much and gives a lot of fun, full auto is surprisingly good and the shots are accurate. The only problem I had was two BBs loading at once, but that was probably my clumsy usage.

AAP-01 is a great GBB replica! It shoots quickly, gives a lot of fun and has huge potential for tuning. Accurate, reliable, and lightweight – ideal as a sidearm for skirmishes.
